A notable event of the eighteenth Annual General Meeting of the Port Management Association of the Caribbean (PMAC) was the election of Executive Committee members.

The Committee to serve for the next two years consists of:

Chairman – Mr. Bishen John, Chief Executive Officer, St. Vincent and the Grenadines Port

Vice Chairman – Mr. Jonathan Bass, Chief Executive Officer, St. Christopher Air and Sea Ports

Treasurer – Mr. Walwyn Nicholls, Operations Supervisor, St. Vincent and the Grenadines Port

While expressing congratulations and support of the new committee, it was with regret that the Secretariat and members bade farewell to previous chairman, Mr. Lenius Lendor, who did not stand for re-election.

However, Mr. Lendor’s dedicated service and contribution to the development of PMAC, during his tenure as Vice Chairman from 2003 to 2011, and Chairman from 2011 to 2015, was acknowledged by the Council’s unanimous agreement to confer the status of Honorary Member upon him.

The Executive and Members wish him continued success in his future endeavours.
