SUPERVISION OF CARGO OPERATIONS IN PORTS WORKSHOP
The two (2) day Supervision of Cargo Operations in Ports workshop, sponsored by the Port Management Association of the Caribbean (PMAC), in collaboration with the Suriname Port Management Company, during June15 – 16, 2015 was a great success.
The Suriname Port Management Company is commended for the effective marketing and administration of the workshop, which was conducted by the Caribbean Maritime Institute, and attended by forty-two (42) participants, including twenty-three (23) representatives of eight (8) member ports, and nineteen (19) non-PMAC members.
The workshop immediately preceded the Annual General Meeting of PMAC, during which the following schedule of training was proposed for July, 2015 – June, 2016.
